It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the marina, supermarket on route. Yes they have a second coffee machine with no lines on the other side, more than a few steps away. Yes there is everything but it comes with hazle. Breakfast is set in a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean if you are lucky to get a table if not inside. Sorry we are not teenagers on a summer camp. Can you imagine, there is a ticket for the pool towels. They do not have the mentality of good service. NO THANK YOU! Melia is not a 5 start chain. So upsetting I wrote and requested a credit of some sort, it was ignore. We were not confortable and vacations are very precious to us. Twice we were told they were sending a handy man to fix it. Not nice they cover the true with excuse. It took a while for someone at management to tell us it did not work thru out the entire hotel. The system looks like it exists but it doesn't work thru the entire hotel. We complain a few times about the ventilation on the room. Lack of care! Absolutely big issues with management. It should had being replace or remove from the room. It was big, just impressive the housekeeper did not see it. There was a dark chocolate stain on one of the decorative pillows on the bed. Fabrics are stain, first impression was negative when we enter the room. Fight for a feather pillow you may be lucky to get one. Beds hard as a rock of the lowest quality money can buy. No confort in mind when remodeling or just cutting expenses. Serious architectural mistakes on remodeling. Shower, water comes out into the small bathroom, no door or proper incline to control it. So close to wall if you are on the larger size do not even think to stay at this hotel. Very irritating! Force to take a soapless shower by Melia. Our bottle was empty on arrival, found this out under the shower. There is only a gel and it is a multipurpose. The room Bathrooms, no mechanical ventilation or windows. Anything requested on a meal is late or confuse. They say yes to everything with a smile and that is as far as you will get. They truly try hard but they are not professional, not their fault they are most likely not trainn properly. Very disappointing the friendly staff, lack of management. The grounds are nice, specially were the restaurant is ,with a terrific view of the ocean, a chic young beach vibe charming decor. You need to be athletic and brave to take the adventure at your own risk and go swimming. It is set on a cliff in front of the ocean but there is no beach. Now we had to visit a supermarket regularly to buy water. Finally, I would expect there to be free drinking water in the rooms. The main resort of Santa Eulalia is a 15 minute walk from the hotel, and the resort has everything you can expect of an Ibiza, Mediterranean resort, although if you're into heavy clubbing, this may not e the resort for you. They also seem to favour those who were wearing bikinis :) at the pool bar. The staff is not unfriendly, but I believe they have very limited English language, which makes them seem less friendly sometimes. Not unclean per se, but on arrival there was a big clump of hair in the shower, and they forgot to clean our room one day, which they immediately rectified when asked. Also the la carte lunches were excellent. We only had B&B, so can't comment on the evening meals, but the breakfast was superior: great choice, all fresh. Our room was spacious enough, had a perfect bed and we slept very well. Overall this is a very good hotel, recently renovated and and they did a cracking job. We spend a week at Sol Beach House in September.
